  • Hollywood has called! In an otherwise non-descript month this has really stood out. John and I have been valiantly preping for the Grand Prix edit and plugging away trying to get archive. Then a call comes in to my phone asking, 'what are you up to?' It's some cheese working with the guys who made Riding Giants and Dog Town and they are now making a film about 60/70/80's Grand Prix for Cinema release next year. My golly that's some competition! I never gave away any secrets but soon I might give away my CV to them. On the preping front the interview transcripts give us hope that there might be a cracking film in the off-ing. One, Lotus mechanic Dave 'Beaky' Sims, seemed a bit flat when we did it but now is a stand out. I can't wait to get going with the edit even if I'm now feeling a bit nervous. The material is good we can't cock it up now.
